The International Journal of Justice and Police Sciences (IJJPS) is delighted to announce the Call for Papers for its inaugural issue, scheduled for publication in January 2025.

IJJPS is a Gold Open Access journal, providing a scholarly platform for original research, case studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and short communications in the fields of Justice Sciences and Police Sciences. The journal encourages contributions that offer innovative insights, theoretical advancements, and practical applications.

The International Journal of Justice and Police Sciences (IJJPS) invites high-quality, original manuscripts in the fields of justice and police sciences. Authors are encouraged to carefully review the following submission guidelines to ensure their work aligns with the journal’s scope and formatting requirements.

IJJPS accepts the following types of manuscripts:

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure scholarly rigor and quality.


Submission Instructions

Manuscripts must adhere to the following formatting and submission requirements:

Formatting

  1. Word Count:

    • Research Articles (Theoretical or Empirical): 5,000–10,000 words (excluding references).

    • Other Article Types: Up to 5,000 words (excluding references).

  2. Citation Style:

    • Follow APA 7 Guidelines for most submissions.

    • For Law Articles, use Bluebook Citation style.

  3. Abstract and Keywords:

    • Include a 150-word abstract summarizing the manuscript.

    • Provide 5–8 keywords.

  4. Formatting Standards:

    • Use Times New Roman font, size 12 pt.

    • Line spacing: 1.5 throughout.

    • Include page numbers starting after the keywords.

    • Use footnotes for Law Articles, if applicable.

  5. Author Bios:

    • Submit a separate document with a brief bio for each author (maximum 4 lines per author).

    • Include relevant professional details and ORCID Id.

Additional Requirements

  • A cover letter must accompany the submission, outlining the manuscript’s originality, relevance, and contribution to the journal’s scope.

  • Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in automatic rejection.
